would be the 15th day of Nissan. The 15th day of Nissan is the first Passover dinner.
So, during mass, we are not celebrating the last supper but like the apostles, we are eating a Passover dinner, in compliance with His commandment.
It is during Passover when unleavened bread is eaten.
"Probably the most significant observance related to Pesach involves avoiding chametz (leaven; sounds like "hum it's" with that Scottish "ch") throughout the holiday. This commemorates the fact that the Jews leaving Egypt were in a hurry, and did not have time to let their bread rise. It is also a symbolic way of removing the "puffiness" (arrogance, pride) from our souls."32
Unlike the Jews that celebrate the Passover of death of their firstborn children, the Passover we are celebrating is The New Passover, which is our salvation whereby true death has passed us over because of Jesus‘ sacrifice.
Question: Is this correct, did the apostles remember you, the way you said, the night of your death?
God’s answer:
Commemorate means “to honor the memory of (a person or event, for example), especially with a ceremony.”33
